WE FUND RESEARCH INTO ANY TYPE OF CANCER, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

The international projects that make the difference

We are often asked how we go about selecting the most worthwhile projects to ensure that the money we raise is used to the best possible effect. Every year we receive over 600 grant applications from all over the world for promising research. If they’re of the requisite scientific quality and not duplicating work being done elsewhere, then they’re considered by our team of scientific advisors. That sounds very methodical and straightforward but the stark reality is that funding ultimately decides. Even if we wanted to we can’t fund the majority of the projects that come our way. And without financial support projects that could significantly improve our knowledge in a particular field will never see the light of day.

Thankfully, our supporters and fundraisers have worked tirelessly to give our scientists all around the world the platform to examine a crucial aspect of cancer, its processes and causes.

Discover more about some of the research currently being carried out thanks to their unswerving support.
