More funding for Scottish researchers
Dr Gareth Inman at the University of Dundee in Scotland is using his new grant to study a new gene which has been linked with over five different types of cancer, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, myeloma, liver cancer, and lung cancer. He plans to use a range of molecular, biochemical and biological techniques to investigate the gene in cancer cells and patient tumour samples. His wants to map in detail how this gene could affect cancer progression.
