Adam's Christmas message

18th December 2019

Adam bravely shared his story of losing both parents. Now he has a special message for our supporters at Christmas.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to Worldwide Cancer Research so far after hearing my family’s story. It’s hard for me to talk about, but I knew it was something I wanted to do - to inspire people to support the charity and take the first step to finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

It really is amazing to think that since I shared my story, we’ve already raised enough money to fund six months of bold cancer research. Imagine if we could fund a whole year!

I know Mum and Dad would be completely and utterly over the moon. I wish they were here to see what we’ve achieved together. But as many of us know, cancer doesn’t wait.

Please don’t lose hope this Christmas. When we think of those who are near, far or are no longer with us, remember that Worldwide Cancer Research are searching the world for the cures for cancer. So that one day, no life will be cut short by cancer.

Until then – hug your loved ones. I know I will.

Thank you so much once again for your support. Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
