Shop online and raise money for cancer research

5th August 2021

Did you know that you could raise money to fund pioneering cancer research whilst shopping online?

Worldwide Cancer Research is listed on several ‘giving platforms’ which means you can donate automatically when you buy or sell goods online – without it costing you a penny extra.

Whether you’re buying something for your home, presents for your loved ones, booking a holiday or just treating yourself, several websites will automatically donate a percentage of the purchase to Worldwide Cancer Research. So, you can help start new cancer cures around the world without having to run a marathon, climb a mountain or host a bake sale!

Here are a few of our favourites:

AmazonSmile: a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. But when you shop on AmazonSmile, a percentage of the purchase price of eligible products can be donated to Worldwide Cancer Research.

The Giving Machine: a free-to-use online shopping site which allows you to buy goods from a huge range of retailers (over 1500!) like M&S, John Lewis and Boots, and with every purchase, a percentage is donated (at no extra cost to you).

Give As You Live: another free-to-use online shopping site with over 4000 retailers including Wickes, Argos and Next. Again, every purchase can help us fund more pioneering cancer research if you choose to donate to Worldwide Cancer Research.

eBay Giving:  if you’re planning to sell something on eBay, you can now give money raised to Worldwide Cancer Research. All you have to do is list your item, decide how much to donate and select Worldwide Cancer Research as your chosen charity!
