This iconic event is recognised as one of the world’s best half marathons, so why not don your running shoes and join us at the start line? The atmospheric route starts and finishes in Newcastle city centre, with runners crossing the famous Tyne Bridge twice.
By 2030 cancer is predicted to become the leading cause of death worldwide. We urgently need to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer - but we can't do it alone.
With your help, we vow to keep funding more lifesaving research projects into any type of cancer, anywhere in the world. We won’t stop until cancer does.

Due to unprecedented circumstances, we have extra spaces available which must be filled this year. There is currently no minimum fundraising target for these additional spaces, we are just asking you to raise as much as you can to start new cures.
