This project hopes to find new ways to stop the virus which causes a rare form of cancer called Kaposi's sarcoma which is becoming more common in some countries. 

These researchers aim to understand how tumour and fat cells communicate to kickstart new ways to stop cancer spreading and make it easier to treat.

By better understanding what makes leukaemia more destructive in some patients this project hopes to lead to the development of new, better treatments. 

This team hope to reveal new ways to treat blood cancer patients and their discoveries could potentially also benefit patients with many other types of cancer.
